THE BEST HOLIDAY LIGHTS DISPLAY IN FLORIDA
There's nothing like the vibe of an over-the-top holiday lights display! I absolutely love the festivity of the holidays, especially at this time of year when it seems like there's a snowball effect (pun, intended!) with fun occasions and reasons to indulge.
One of the most delightful holiday decorations that I enjoy is holiday lights... there's something so extravagant about lots of bulbs and bright colors wrapped around trees or illuminating free-standing shapes. It's pure joy.
The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Downtown Sarasota is a perfect place to enjoy holiday lights. In fact, the Selby lights are a famous annual installation, even garnering mention this year in Travel + Leisure Magazine. If you love light displays as much as I do, please put a Selby visit on your calendar!
The show, called Lights in Bloom, is open now through January 2nd, with some dates excluded for holidays. The display turns on at 6:00 p.m. so that you can enjoy the full effect of the lights against a dark sky.
